The Freyberg building was designed by the Ministry of Works along the same lines as Vogel (Justice Centre) and Charles Fergusson buildings, for government office accommodation.
Now over 30 years old, the building requires a refresh and an upgrade to current building standards, similar to what CCM carried out on the Justice Centre. This includes a new façade upgrading all the interior spaces and providing a better address for the building. Alongside this, the building will meet full seismic code compliance.
These improvements will provide an A grade office space that will be energy efficient and sustainable well into the future.
